Hi I Brought a sitdown crusin USA arcade machine and I would like to put a pc In it how would I connect the exiting controls on the machine like the pedal gear shifter and the steering wheel and view buttons to the pc
@ace3093 If you read the comments or the description it says how, I hacked a microsoft Dual-Strike controller, if you google that you'il get your answer
Force feedback is possible Somehow but I havn't looked into it as my cab has a spring loaded wheel, a Dual-Strike hack is basically using an old Microsoft Dual-Strike controller and wiring the pot's in the cabinet to it as it uses 5k pots as standard, an easier way though would be to get an a-pac from ultimarc.
@retromamez Ah I see. I did some reading up and it seems MAME actually does output things like force feedback and LED flashing signals which a program called "MAME Hook" can output via the parallel port, though it looks complicated. Can't wait to try it anyway :-)
Yeah Mamehooker definatley outputs Lamp Data... check out my video "Chase HQ Arcade Cabinet Emulation Working Patrol LIghts Test with Mamehooker" (browse my other video's). There are a few video's I made during the setup but the one i've just mentioned was when I had it working properley. Don't know how it would work for force feedback but if you're thinking of Daytona you would be using the model2 emulator anyway and I know that supports force feedback somehow.
@retromamez Yeah M2 outputs force feedback to any wheel that supports it, though a little clunky it works pretty well. I have a couple of FFB USB wheels and one of those will be dissected for this project. Doubt I can get the lamp outputs working with that emu though sadly. I'll definitely be making some progress videos though. Nice little arcade you have there btw :-)

Looks awesome!
What's a Dual-Strike hack by the way? I'm looking to do the same thing with a Daytona cab, have you got the force feedback working?
