can you apply this to photographs, without distorting the photo? to add color to lets say a black and white photo?

@i8beachglass it depends on how the photo is printed and what type of ink is used. if they used a water-based ink, like an ink jet printer, when you apply the clear gesso the colors will lift and bleed. otherwise it should be fine. we suggest doing a test run first! thanks for the comment and have fun!
