@LadyLavender7777 Hi there! No worries! Hamlet is a happy and healthy little pig. Hamlet gets a healthy and recommended portion of food. For a 50 pound pig, he should be getting two half cup servings of mini pig food a day. I vary it up though. For a few months I'll do one cup of food a day and then have a few months where he gets a cup and a half of food a day. I use NutriSource brand mini pig food (I am also aware of Mazuri). Hamlet also gets lots of fruits and veggies and Cheerios.
@LadyLavender7777 mine too. we have 3 teenagers and one adult pig. we just kept pebbles from a litter, she's 5 weeks . perfect diet!! we raise and sell them, and i congratulate you on keeping your obviously loved piggie healthy and eating right. yours is the best CORRECT feeding regimen i've seen!!! so far!! keep it up. see our videos on utube lolipopfarm.
we have 2. oreo cookie and sassy frass. they are about 5 and 4 months. we had them in the house, and had trouble with oreo hitting the toilet.(litter box) his urine is strong smelling and i figure its due to him not being fixed. is yours fixed, what age? we are breeding our 2 in spring so we can;t fix him yet.
@cricketscorner Hamlet was neutered at 5 weeks. Their urine smells pretty bad anyway though. I use odor blocking paper cat littler. It works pretty well. Also, for cleaning up urine on the carpet, I have tried everything as like you, Hamlet had many accidents while learning. I've found Nature's Miracle works the best. Good luck!
@pinklady405 Hamlet is now 16 months old and 50 lbs. He is pretty much full grown. He grew exponentially in the first 9 months and then really tapered off. He has been around 50 pounds for about 5 to 6 months. The breeder estimated he would be about 45 lbs. So, a pretty close estimation. Thanks for watching!
@PiggyGirl2010 how big is he like compared to your dog now because i heard they weigh alot more than wat they look like cause they're compact bodies plz let me know soon caues i might get a pig soon
@basserkid13 Hamlet is approximately the size of a cocker spaniel. You are right in that they are a lot denser than dogs. Hamlet weighs 50 pounds but is the same size as a 30 pound cocker spaniel. See more recent videos with the black and while cocker spaniel in them.
