"Hey Ho Wish You Well" should have been a MUCH bigger hit, as it was done in pretty much the same fasion as "Run Runaway" and it probably would have had, Had it got MUCH MORE PROMOTION by the Record labels, not only in the UK, but also in the USA, where Slade was on CBS (Epic) Associated Records. If CBS had put more effort in promoting Slade, (rather then promoting music that was absolutely CRAP at that time, such as Lisa Lisa/Cult Jam, and Sade) Slade would have had prabably a few #1 hits in USA
The only Slade tunes I know are Cum On Feel The Noise and that *&%!ing chistmas one!! But that Mr Jones tune was really quite good and the solo was REALLY good! Pleasently surprised!
In case anyone thinks Don Powell is a bit of a half wit - the reason he can't remember the videos is his near fatal car crash in 1973 that left him with a short term memory problem. Philip SChoefield has no such excuse . "Coz I Luv You" their first hit? Whatever happened to Slade and "Get Down & Get With It", and -NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE!!!!!!! Ha HA - he should be ashamed of himself. If he'd said Newcastle under Lyme at least he would have been closer (as the crow flies) Hilarious.
you spelt Beechdale wrong you stupid fuckwit cunt. You, obviously, are a chav idot and live in Walsall. Wolverhampton is a different world and it's about time they built a wall in Willenhall )Willenhall, Wolverhampton) and kept you Birmingham wannbees out of Wolves!!
