the only thing I didn't like about a falls count anywhere match in WCW is that they almost always ended IN THE RING! It kind of defeats the purpose of a "Falls Anywhere" match doesn't it?
this was a fun match though and I loved the commentary Schiavone gave the following night
"Last night WCW took you somewhere no one else did...to the bathroom!"
This was one of the greatest moment's along with Flair turning on Sting at Halloween Havoc! WOOO Horsemen greatest ever! I'm liking TNA Fortune! WOOOOO
I had actually forgotten that this match had a legitimate pinfall finish. Also, every single time Schiavone says "This is where the big boys play." i just hear Nash "Look at the adjective: play!"
@razieltalos Weed and cigarettes. I guess it's just a matter of taste. I'll admit, once in a while he says something that makes me laugh. But most of the time, he's just loud, repetitive and moronic. That KINDA worked in his wrestling promos, but does nothing for commentary. As far as in-ring work, he was even worse. Nothing good to say about him there, and I've tried to enjoy his alleged "classics" with Flair and Race. Boring as Nascar.
Man. Sullivan had NO place in a ring (even if it was falls count anywhere) in 1996! But then, Schiavone and Dusty NEVER had a place in wrestling, period. So I guess it fit with WCW's "master plan".
@NoRulesInNam There were a few years before Nitro came along when he wasn't as awful as he later became, but I have yet to listen to a match where he was anything more than mediocre. But to each their own.
This was one of the most underrated rivalries in history jus because of how personal it was. one of the only rivalries that the fighters fought all over the damn arena.
I agree with jericho. Anderson, Blanchard, Flair, and Anderson will always be my favorite variation of the group. They were just the best. And you still see that group together. The original gang will always be held in high regard. After that, Pillman and Benoit were really the only variation that was good. Mongo should have been a manager and they should have let malenko have pillmans spot or brought windham back while arn could still wrestle. That would have been legit
I will tell you what, the greatest four horsemen faction for me was Benoit, Pillman, Flair and Anderson. The one with malenko instead of pillman was also great, but I just see that as anderson and flair replacing shane douglas (or simply put them taking his original triple threat members).
Well since were on the greatest horsemen stables, i think we should make lists of the worst ones. Lex? Sid? Roma? Mongo? I really want to see where these chips fall.
@sanjeevksharma He was a great wrestler, but he suffocated his son with a pillow, and snaped his wifes neck in half by doing the crossface to her, and then hung himslef with a gym bag.
I love it when Arn Anderson pushed Chris Benoit off of Kevin Sullivan and he started kicking Kevin Sullivan and he pointed to Benoit to beat him down, Classic!
Sullivan vs Benoit was a real life feud

The superplex off the table and top rope in a sweet finish. Better than the gay finishers they use today. This a all time classic

Beats the pussy with a superplex and bitchslaps him afterwards. That wouldn't be as bad if it were, say, 1985.

@KingofMarks91 What do you know about wrestling in 1996 you were 5 years old .
Go back and watch John Cena and all the rest of shit Vince airs now.

These were the best versions of the 4Horseman IMO:
1.Flair,Anderson,Blanchard,Windham-they had all the belts during this time from late 1988-89.
2.Flair,Ole & Arn Anderson & Blanchard-The Original.
3.Flair,Anderson,Pillman & Benoit-Wrestlings past & wrestlings future.

First was Roma, I can imagine Flair and Arn saying Who?
Than mongo
Than Sid
Than Sting (because he did fit the Horseman mode)
MagicKirin 7 months ago
Flair, Dean Malenko and Benoit would've been the best, if not for the last member of that team- McMichael.
