I got stuck on this dungeon for the longest time. because i didnt figure out that you are supposed to knock the key off of the lantern to get it, becuause i didnt even notice it was there. god i suck at this game.
ok for the boss battle, i recommend using just the sword on this one.... its all about timing and if you look closely, when the snakes pop out, they fling little rocks around, watch fot those and you will beat this boss within 90 secs
once the screen moves up and your in the room like the one at 4:33, dont move from the doorway. the tiles will not hit u and cause damage. Once the room is clear then you can move
TIP: If you run out of arrows and magic just charge up your sword, and walk up to the part of the ground where a worm will pop out. When they do come out they get hit by your sword and this will count! But be at a corner angle for the last worm.
i think this is a different version of the game besides U.S. version cause i have super nintendo and im playing this game right now on it and it does not have link yell on swinging sword and some puzzles are slightly different. id like to now if you knew wat version you were playing with
the GBA one. the remake that came with 4 swords. search for an SNES walkthrough if that's your case. most walkthroughs i've seen use this version, though. i have this version. very few people have SNES's still, if they ever had. i never did.
i got my NES from my aunt, and before that i had a 64. that's it. huge generation gap. that's why i like game remakes such as this and wii virtual console games.
my point, look for an SNES walkthrough, if there are any at all on youtube.

the rocks were annoying arrows or not. that's all that hit me until i ran out of arrows.
Goddarn that bloody boss, i hate it! In every zelda game there is one boss i dispise fighting, in links awakening, moldorm. In Twilight Princess I hate Morpheel and in phantom hourglass I hated the cubus bitches. (I lost again)
Could be if you're playing on the SNES, that they changed it after they ported it to the GBA. Or it's just a difference between the actual game and the rom I play it on.
Good idea going into a dungeon with 4 hearts.

I'm playing the SNES version.

Probably because if you look close enough, they also shoot rocks out of the ground when they come up, and that's probably what's hitting you.
