Hi Larry, when you send one signal to FOH and the other to the rental amps, are you running the rental amp signal without the power amp and cabinet sims? Is it a different signal chain altogether?

I am proud to say that I knew Larry when he had his very first Guitar way back in 1979 when we were 15 years old. He was so good then I just knew he would go far with his music. His cuz n (my high school sweet heart) and myself use to sit around and we'd watch and listen at how good he played and now he is great and has multiple guitars. Wow you have used your God given talent well my friend.

Wow! I love your playing. It looks like you're running the axe-fx to an amp on stage... is that just for personal "monitor" reasons? How "natural" does the axe-fx feel compared to a tube pre-amp. (Lastly...) How "natural does it sound when run direct through the mains?

Larry, you use the whammy bar often, how do you keep your guitar in tune? do you have a locking tuner on those?

I have Sperzel locking tuners on the SZ and the Custom shop SA but on the newer SV570 it comes with Planet Waves Locking Tuners.I check in between songs but most of the time the guitars say in tune. I think that most of the times that I have problems staying in tune the strings are older than a week-2 weeks.

The pickups are stock Ibanez true duo's in that guitar.

Nope the pickup says Dimarzio/IBZ Which is the Dimarzio version of the True Duo pickup and it came stock on the SA Prestige models. THe ones that are in the new SV570 are the Ibanez made ones.

nope// An AT300 would have Andy's name on the 12th fret this has mine. :-) There other differences also.

I know there are differences... I didn't say it was the same guitar, I said it seems like the AT300. The AT300 haven't got Andy's name on the 12 fret, it has some custom inlays over the fretboard, if you look at all the guitar, you won't find anything about Andy's name, it just have the sign of the Japan Team Craft.

I say that because I own the AT300.

Hmm... I thought you couldn't use the EV-5 with the Axe-FX. Isn't the polarity backwards?

I have been using the EV-5 since I got the Axe FX. It works fine. I'm plugging my EV-5 straight into the back of the Axe FX. There was a thread on the Axe FX Forum about which pedals work and which didn't. I tried it and it worked.
