I really don't get why they have amps at the background when they aren't even using them. They want to fool us that this is "live" while everyone knows this is just playback.

As for Maiden, Dickinson was back and they wanted to advertise it to every Maiden fan possible so I understand this. Unless this was recorded far from reunion. The second reason why they played there is probably because they wanted to play some metal on the TOTP, and not just mainstream.

Yes that's sad. Iron Maiden was the first band with The Who who played without Playback at Top of The Pops( that was in the eighties) But I think in the 21Century you have to play with Playback at TV- Shows like this or they don't let u play.

Last time they play at this fuckin show, that was Running Free in 1981 and they play live because it was again a little band thus the tv station doesn't care if they do a good prestation or not. Yeah, Bruce's vocal is definitely a playback.
