  • Critical mass is for inconsiderate assholes.

  • i love california and our bike lanes. keeps me from running people like this over ;)

  • The costs associated with these reckless cyclists is astronomical, the head and spinal injuries that occur every year is staggering. The rest of us cannot afford to pay for this selfish behavior. Get cyclists off the road for their own safety.

  • @Sterlingheadset Rest of us? Didn't realise people in the US paid for injured bicyclists in Australia. It's illegal to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk in Victoria (Melbourne) so that leaves the street to ride on.

  • critical mass = trouble makers

  • @stewartx5 please share the road. Your inconvenience of a tight time schedule is nothing compared to a hospital bed from impatient motorists running over a bike. Be civilized while on the road and look out for bikes. Its that simple...

  • this is best thing that this cop has ever done....hates those bikers who don,t follow the laws...

  • All I know is when I attend a Critical Mass I abide by traffic laws as if though im driving a car or motorcycle. The bicylist my have ran a red light or weaving in and around cars. Who knows what happened.

  • Looks like it turned into a Critical MESS

  • Man, police really need to shut these Critical Mass rides down. These bicyclist ride over the entire roadway to intentionally block vehicle traffic, effectively detaining drivers against their will. Their rights do not exceed the rights of others, such as the right to freely travel without unnecessary restraint.

  • @stewartx5, and cars don't block the road 24/7?

  • @stewartx5 constraint not restraint.

  • @YesYesYouAreRight Perhaps you're right. ;)

  • @stewartx5

Have you been to one of those clubs where restraints are used ?

  • @stewartx5 well done, thts the point of a critical mass- to make people aware A) there are a hell of a lot of vulnerable (when alone) cylists, who have to take shit from motorists day in day out B) motorists do the same to cyclists to intentionally piss them off by swerving, slamming brakes on, not looking properly or taking enough time to look! and im sure that you dont whinge like that, saying its your 'right' to travel without restraint when stuck in traffic behind loads of busses and cars,

  • @mr420B

thats part of cycling is dealing with drivers. its dangerous only because people are used to cars. same has been for people on motorcycles. they've been taking shit from people in cars but they don't go blocking the road delaying motorist who don't even deserve it. it wouldn't make it right to bother cyclist and block them just because cars had to take shit from them

  • @stewartx5 You're completely correct about the rights of the car drivers who are being restrained, the cyclists have no right to block the flow of traffic without receiving a citation because it says in the law that cyclists have the same rights AND laws as pedestrian vehicles. So that means they need to practice what they preach.

But I'm not taking these impatient car peoples side either, they need to realize that cyclists are people trying to get somewhere, not block the way.

  • @stewartx5

That doesn't apply in a legal sense since the drivers are free to abandon their vehicles and leave the scene on foot.

  • @frother

So you think it's okay for cyclists ride freely down the middle of the roadway as long as others (workers, elderly, handicapped, etc) can freaking walk? Gee, I hope not many like you are employed in the courts of this nation.

  • @stewartx5

Fortunately, law is more precise than "you think it's okay"s

  • @stewartx5 I can guarantee that every critical mass event hosts WAY more people than the drivers affected by it. Deal with it, lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @stewartx5 Your comment was so shitty, it got removed. Bummer.

  • @CackSlop666

LOL. Don't be silly. I deleted the comment due of a spelling mistake.

  • @stewartx5 Your attempt to stop them from driving is also stopping their right to freely travel without unnecessary restraint. LolloloLOloloLOloLoLOLOlooLol

  • @VigilateProductions

I'm not stopping them from driving or traveling, so your comment makes no sense.

  • They were speeding

  • why

  • not entirely sure what the cop was doing, or why, but it looked like he was taking one of those critical mass fags off the road. i'm all for that! hope you can get the rest of 'em!
