You can dispute the copyright strike by claiming fair-use through the youtube form process. Your videos are clearly a transformative fair use of the material. I put a fair use note on all my videos and have used it to get my videos back online and remove the "strike". Message me if you want help with the process.
I really don't see what the problem with your vids is. I mean, all you're doing is being creative and making something for other people to enjoy! It's not like you're acting like you own Star Trek, you're just showing your love for it!

I can show you a tutorial on how to pitch your songs and they never get copyrighted. Sure the songs sound different but its worth it ^^ I have two strikes and i got them like 7 months ago and ever since then I've used Pitch Shift and I havent got one since or a copyright notice since! Its awesome ^^

If your copyright troubles are to do with the songs you play on your vids, do this: first, make your vid exactly how you want it. Then, make a copy *without* any sound. Then, upload the videos without audio and, in your description, tell us what song it is set to, and *exactly* what time (00:00) in your vid the song starts. This way, we can watch your vid while playing a legit file of the desired song at the same time, as though they were together. Its inconvenient, but better than nothing.
first off, always keep a backup copy of your vids on your computer just in case youtube decides to eff up as usual.also, i think photobucket can upload vids & you can make a locked album & only allow friends to veiw it via a password. (hint hint lol) that way no passer by can report anything. i do it with my K/S pics album so photobucket is less likely to look in & delete .

I'm so sorry to read this. I just caught my second warning myself. It's so ridiculous that instead of finding ways to make our creativity work for them, they shoot us down. I do want the people who have given me hours of fine entertainment and great songs to profit from their work. But then big corporations and creativity and the will for innovation seem mutually exclusive. So sad. Until then, downloads do look like the only option. So it's back to how it began on the internet.
what I did was take out the links , that have teh copy right names in them ... that might help a bit cause they started on mine first but stopped cause I took the links out
@Gatewhale : I've tried that too and unfortunately they STILL find copyright anyway. What I heard was that Viacom is suing YouTube and forcing them to watch every video that's uploaded to check for copyright...which sounds crazy but I think they are starting to do that.

They aren't hasseling you over the Star Trek footage, right? I mean, as long as you stay within the original series and forgo the movies (I know you've used the movies before, but maybe not from now on?) you could easily argue that CBS has already made them publicly available via YouTube. If it's the songs, maybe you could A) add (really annoying) sound distortions throughout the vid so it could be declared "undownloadable" or B) we could start a band and make our own music?? :( I'm sorry!!! <3

I think you should start uploading them to your backup account first and see how that works out. Then if it just causes more issues, upload them to another website.
Have you checked out megavideo com yet? This way we could still watch a stream instead of downloading the video. Apart from that I'd second the "preview here - download link in the description"- method, it would be the easiest.
I love your videos. It would be a pity if you stopped making them just because of YouTube not finding agreements with the copyright holders.
I hope YouTube realizes they're taking this out on the backs of the wrong ones before it's too late :-(

I don't think youtube understands it value. There are many shows, movies and music that I have run across on this site and then have purchesed said CD or DVD. I find it frustrating that people can up load shows/movies full versions with seamingly no pentally and you get penalized for puting creative thoughts together. Its not like your claming you own Star Trek or the music you use.
