Well here goes, Yeh luv this film, Ive always thought Ed Fox wud hav made a decent James Bond in his day, maybe abit short for the role, but nothing Hollywood cudnt hav sorted there lol. Remember the remake with Willis, Bruce tried to hard to b cold in the remake. Fox is so awesomely cold in a nice normal way thats wot make his performance so effective. Like how he gets in with that woman. Frederick Forsyth is a great novelist too, many of his films been made in2 great movies.
@RaikenXion I agree with your opinion on having Fox as Bond. Don't get me wrong, I like Sean. But Connery was too much of a misogynist for my taste, (with all the woman smacking), and Moore was too tongue-in-cheek as well. Fox is a polished professional. Calculating. Intimidating? No. But he's not suppose to be noticed as intimidating because he'd be a "SPY."
@cqtaylor Yeh exactly unnoticed, even impersonating so I guess the only time he wud hav 2b intimidating is if he wud absolutely need to kill, as a last resort, gud point thats the whole point of y he wudnt even need to b intimidating. But I like his performance in this film cus he is cold, Fox portrays this character so well in that u understand this is a pure professional trained killer. Bond is fantasy, I think Fox wud hav gave 007 that gritty realism long b4 Craig ever did.
