  • awesome :D

  • Great job!

  • what tuning is that dadgad ?

  • This is impressive playing, but it would be greatly improved if all the notes were delivered perfectly.

  • Just beautiful!! Is this your own music? Very unusual....how did you learn this song?

  • Your are in dire need to know what you're talking about. Greg is awesome on stage. All you big mouths last played on stage in front of an audience when ? Yeah that's what I thought. Go back to guitar hero and let Greg do his thing in the real world.

  • can anyone recommend some artist to check out that play in this style or any songs? thanks

  • what are the chords 09 or 010??

  • I love the fact that it wasn't perfect but still sounded awesome.... very folk

  • @FolkMusicWins well, you must be a musician because it sounded "perfect" to me.

  • negative comments usually means fearfull and jelouse people that live with there false pride ,,,your music is awsome and thankyou for giving ,,,,rock-on brother

  • haha he kinda messes up

    alot

  • Here's the story. In 2007, after a long day of filming lessons, the crew wanted to try some improvized jamming. I started playing a half-finished DADGAD arrangement of a fiddle tune, Rock That Cradle Joe. My hands do get shaky with too high a coffee-to-food ratio, it's not really nerves.

Thanks for watching, I had no idea there'd be so many views!

  • thats very clean and beautiful. I am humbled.

  • beautiful :) real inspriation :)

  • i really dont like this type of music but that was amazing guitar play 5 of 5!

  • omg I love this music thing but don't know the name to call this. I know it's folk but is there a special name for this peaceful, fast-paced, beautiful guitar playing? Are there any songs similar to this? Please reply to thris comment. Thank you.

  • Nick Drake plays this sort of music, he has some instrumentals but also sings over the top, As does Bert Jansch. There are loads of people that do this though, its not a popular kind of music so you pretty much have to dig deep, its great stuff.

  • well , its called Celtic acoustic

    sounds more like Irish

    ans played offently in DADGAD

  • Ah so thats what dadgad is for! hehe just kidding, and yeah I agree has to be an open tuning. Good stuff. I keep a guitar in open for slide but Ive never really fingered chords in open.
