  • Manito arriba si viste al lado de este video muchas letras raras xd

  • I swear to GOD, if anyone calls it a thumper, I will RAPE EVERYTHING.

  • wheres the boom!!!!?

  • 1) Repeal the Hughes Amendment. 2) Very cool toy. 3) I wish it was easier to get a HE round. It's not illegal but damn near impossible to pull off.

  • you need to do a id of you shootign it like the terminator

  • If only he was standing outside of justin bieber's house

  • use that in an airsoft war

  • stop noobtubing

  • with grenade launchers, near hit is a hit.

  • NOOBTUBER!

  • That sound is not very satisfying xD.

  • @tryanoman6 m79 was in MW2 which was called THUMPER

  • do want

  • rcbif101 , wen was this in MW2???

  • thats china lake from black ops

  • @cupcake22700 - no. It's an M79 from the Vietnam era. The China lake is a pump action tube fed grenade launcher. The M79 was in that video game Modern Warfare 2.

  • @cupcake22700 Your chance of finding a China Lake, in the real world is very slim, I think there were less then 50 made.

  • Do destructive devices fallow the same rules as MG's where a civilian can not own one made after 1968?

  • @pbstarkiller

Civilians can privately own machine guns made after 1968 if they were manufactured and registered here in the US before the May 1986 cutoff date. As for destructive devices, the GCA of 68 banned the import of all NFA items for private civilian sales/ownership. However, any new destructive device manufactured here in the US can be owned/sold privately.

  • noobtube

  • Are training rounds for the 40mm classified as an NFA item?

  • @iLikeToitools

No. Neither are buckshot, flare, flechette, gas, etc etc. Only one that would be regulated would be an HE round and those are virtually non existent for any private individual to own/purchase.

  • @david6x6 is that due to legalities, price or due to no one selling to civilians?

  • how does the propulsion work? i mean, what makes the grenade leave the barrel?

  • @SixTacchini Same way a bullet leaves a standard firearm. You have the projectile, casing, powder, and ingnition source. The grenade is armed by rotational force from the barrel rifling and inertia acting on the projectile from firing.

  • @david6x6 arent m79s launched with air not powder?

  • @popkarma

    No.

  • thumper

  • BLOOP!

  • noob tuber. xd

  • I'm a gamer who liked the M79 before COD.

    :(

  • @Tyson0395 I'm a gamer who saw the M79 in COD and recognized it from Terminator 2.

  • @SithArmyKnife the one from call of duty is called china lake which is pump action 4 rounds. the one from terminator 2 is a single round .

  • @monkeyboy8me No the M79 was in T2 and Modern Warfare 2. The China Lake, a modified M79, appeared in Black Ops. I was referring to the M79.

  • where can i get blueprints this will work perfact.

  • I have a few questions. How much does an M79 in good condition cost, can any 40mm round fit in it, are any licenses needed for it (I'm guessing class 3), and how old would you need to own one?

  • @inverseactuality

They can be anywhere form $4k-$8500. Prices depending on manufacturers, condition, spare parts, so on.

Only 40mm low pressure rounds should be used. MK19 and so forth rounds are to not be used in low pressure launchers like the M79 or M203.

No licenses to own, just state laws and typical NFA paperwork.

    18yoa or older to own.

  • @david6x6 haha you can own a grenade launcher but not a handpistol on the age of 18?...

  • @keesurt You can own a handgun at 18.

  • @david6x6 not in cali

  • @keesurt u can own a handgun at 16

  • @david6x6 ahahha really? with 18 i can own a grenade launcher so i can rob a liquor store cause drinking is allowed at 21?? usa makes a lot of sence xD

  • @david6x6 seems expensive for some wood and a bit of metal

  • @david6x6 Can you legally buy and use beehive ammunition for the 40mm?

  • What a noobtuber...

Sorry Gun fans, I just had to do it xD

  • thit no m79 on 9

  • These things are so cool but I can't imagine it being easy to obtain in Canada :'(

I love that scene in Apocalypse Now where the azns are screaming in the background and the black guy shoots the grenade over the hill and then the screaming stops.

Anyways I want one of these, loading it up with anything from flares to buckshot would be fun as hell.

  • danger close pro

  • @ghostavenger1988 get live you fat fucker

  • this grenade launcher is pretty cool, i like watching how it operates in slo-mo in killing floor

  • its not called thumper like on mw2

  • CoD Faggots

    V

    V

    V

  • noobtubers

  • Should've shot it into the sky. Could've watched it fall back down and caught it lol.

  • I just watched your vid, pretty sick! Are you in the military? Im just curious as to how you got to shoot that grenade launcher....Im jealous, lol

  • scavenger what a nub

  • @ghostavenger1988

    i kno right!

  • To all MW2 fan boys and girls: The Thumper is the 'nick-name' M79 Grenade Launcher given in Vietnam for the sound it makes. Also don't base your weapon knowledge off INACCURATE games like Modern Warfare 2, do actual research and get your facts straight.

P.S. If you do want a more accurate game pick up BFBC2

  • @zvinny1 LOL bad company 2 is also innacurate, u will never found a FPS game soo realistic

  • @ghostavenger1988 true true but its way more realistic than Mw2 I'll tell you that

  • Here comes the MW2 Nerds...

  • @TheAribomu know ur one of them too

  • My friends uncle used this in Vietnam, I've seen this in a lot of games I play and yes MW2 one of them plus I've tried a gun in RL before and it was an HK MP5A2. I'd jump at the chance to try this gun for real.

  • Thumper! :)

  • Everytime I see this gun I think of the part when the terminator fires it at the police cars in Terminator 2 Judgement Day :)

  • Thoomp. Just sayin'.

  • AKA thumper...

  • "you are high!" Yeah that's the best way to be when operating firearms... lol?

  • But isn't the shell hot? You can just pull it out like this? Cool launcher BTW.

  • @ultrabidder2

    Not hot at all.

  • hahaah simunitions are awsome

  • SCOUT GOT AN UPGRADE!

  • that is cool

  • M79 NOOB

  • Apocalypse Now has the best m79 ever, even though its a movie it just looks awsome with the tiger paint scheme.

  • u know wat i dont understand...the laucher doesnt have much recoil...

  • Who the helll calls it a pussy name like thumper?? This bad boy is the M79 A.K.A. "Charlie Killer"

  • soo glad ppl used the name m79 instead of thumper from mw2 :/ i play mw2 but im really big into war and guns (whole family in wars) and just happy i didnt find this video with the name thumper in it :)

  • I fucking agree as fuck.

    FUCK COD FANBOYS.

  • i love the thumper, i like its nickname better, mw2 should at least say thats its name

  • noob tubers :p

  • Can't imagine why it would be called a blooper the M79 i mean and you definitely can't buy the grenades for it Anywhere in north america and most civilized countries, although it would really help my fishing game :P

  • Isn't this also called a blooper?

  • @davidandrex2

Thumper is a nickname for the m79 grenade launcher, get your brain of the games and learn about weapons in reality. Though the available weapons you find in Call of Duty may be actual models there is still a ton more you don't know about kid.

  • same thing, its not my favorite weapon, but i think its pretty cool. i would not be able to remember the real names of the weapons

  • @Mister86Productions blooper were the nickname in the vietnam war, when the gun was first invented

  • @SuperGameMan100

Along with many others, SuperGameMan100. Quite the name, I bet you're here for the same reason as davidandrex2.

  • yes... but its not a thumper, I hate when gamers asume they know something... This is the M79, know as the Thumper from COD

  • @davidandrex2

wow are you retarted? just because this launcher is in the game doesn't mean it is FROM IT. give me a break, the thumper isn't even the real name for it its the m79 its just what they nicknamed it in vn. let me guess you probably don't even know what vn is do you? codtards piss me off

  • no shit, i was just saying thats the weapon thats in the game. god fuckin trolls r evrywhere

  • and vn is vietnam right

  • @davidandrex2 no, its vagina nipple, jeez, everyone knows that...

  • @xxxlqy HAHAHAH vagina nipple

sorry the gave me a good laff. dont know bout anyone else.

  • @lovestorys345 your welcome i guess haha

  • yeah dude your a fucking spaz, i'm sure you know everything about vietnam don't you. besides how do you know the kids not british, check that a british kid would know more than most americans anyway. i get it i don't like the COD kids going around thinking they know shit either but chill the fuck out. he's at least half right because it was nicknamed the thumper. and of course it's not "from" the game, but that's scemantics. i myself play but i research guns before i talk and so should everyone

  • @CrazyPittsburghGuy you are stupid the thumper, blopper, dooper and wombat gun are all nicknames for the m79 grenade lancher, also theres nothing wrong with reffering to call of duty or mw2

  • Yep

  • NOOBTUBER!! nah just kidding xD

  • Even if that was a practice round, getting hit by that at such a high speed wouldn't be pretty.

Also, how much do practice rounds cost? Just a quick question.

  • Anywhere from $5-$8 a round depending on the retailer.

  • is the round an explosive?

  • @david6x6 are the grenades legal to buy?

  • @ShawnSamLeahUsername yes they are legal but you must pay 200 dollar tax stamp on each one plus what the seller wants so its crazy expensive.

  • @david6x6 im not from the US so i dont know the laws. so you can own these, but surely dummy/practice rounds is the only ammo you can buy?

  • @stevielicious3 You can own almost everything from flechette rounds, buckshot, tear gas, smoke, flare, less than lethal (baton rounds, foam, bean bag) and practice. If one could find someone to sell an HE round, you could in theory own it. But the ATF would probably require you to have a licensed bunker for storage and then you'd have to find someone to sell it to you (which is highly unlikely due to liability concerns and so forth).

  • @david6x6 wow...god bless America lol

  • @david6x6 but u cant have tracers tho right?

  • @halomand11

Tracers are legal in most states. Some states do have laws prohibiting them along with AP, AP Incendiary, and so on.

  • @david6x6 They make 40 mm tracer?

  • @stevielicious3 From my understanding, you CAN buy explosives but it's considered a "Destructive Device". Which means you have to register every single HE round, pay a $200 tax on it (in addition to the cost), and wait months on end for the ATF to run background checks on you and approve it.

So while technically you can, it's cost prohibitive. Most people that own grenade launchers only have them for collector/novelty value.

  • my uncle was a grenadier during Nam (he didnt go he was a reservist) he said the gun had little recoil but you wouldnt want to be on the recieving end of it!

  • The M79, nick named "Thumper" during the Vietnam war due to the sound it makes.

If you only know the M79 as "Thumper x 2" from MW2, then GTFO

  • LOL NICE!

  • @ZanderArch its also in some of the Resident Evil games where it is called the M79...you can use napalm/flame rounds with it as well as some made up ones like acid filled ones

  • I think that in Vietnam it was Blooper but in Iraq they called it Thumper

  • @ZanderArch i thought it was called the "blooper"

  • @ZanderArch how do you know there is such thing in mw2 if you haven't played it. Im sure you just wikipedia that post and you're acting all cool and shit like you know all about guns, bob.

  • @ZanderArch They actually nick named it the "blooper".

  • @SpamOThing the Australians and British named it that

  • @ZanderArch I thought it was booper :\

  • @SpamOThing yay!

  • @ZanderArch

Australians referred to it as the Wombat

  • is this a thumper?

  • yes

  • ya, thumpers the nick name of it

  • @vLeOv yes you fucking cod idiot it is

if you woud search on wikipedia youre litle brains woud figured that out whitout doeing stupid gamereferences

  • your are high

  • My dad carried one of these in 'Nam. These are mean weapons.

  • That's a very nice piece of equipment you've got there. :)

I've been looking for a place to buy an M-79 I couldn't find one anywhere, I then went searching for blueprints of them as well as parts.

I couldn't find any blueprints, but I did find some (very pricey) parts.

Could you point me in the direction of where to get one?

    Thanks.

  • Ohio Ordnance currently has 2 in stock.

Otherwise, keep an eye on the NFA ad boards. Receivers appear occasionally along with parts and can be form 1 into a DD.

  • Thanks. :)

  • how much do m79s cost? how much did you get it for, and are they legal?

  • Anywhere from $5k to $8k dollars and they're perfectly legal depending on the state in which you live.

  • @GuruNightStalker impactguns has one in stock.

  • That's a real M79, not a toy.

  • i just got this and put bbs in it and when i put gas in it came out where u screw two peices togather and somtimes it would push bbs out and gas would come out, that was when i was puting gas in it did it all at once,do u no how i can fix it?

  • Cant help you as I dont play with airsoft.

  • haha, that reply was a slap in the face

  • hey now, i play airsoft, but this is way cooler. I would rather have one of these. where was the explosion afterwards, i didnt here anything? I may be deaf or stupid, just a question.

  • @DakotaLynnMartin

This was a practice chalk round. Live explosive HE grenades are virtually impossible to legally obtain in the private civilian world.

  • @david6x6 But wait how would you get the launcher? is it yours or did the shooting range let you borrow it?

  • @TehUBERProductionify

I filed the appropriate ATF paperwork and was approved to possess it. It is mine.
