  • I`m gonna be courtious in writing this comment because of your youth.. So called "flood geology" has no credible evidence supporting it otherwise stuff supporting it would be appearing in peer reviewed science journals and creationists would be Nobel Prize winners. Creationism is like hollow Earthism, astrology or the stork theory of human reproduction...pure nonsense with no basis in fact. I recommend you google up "thunderf00t" and watch clips from his channel. Do yourself a favor.

  • @hmwm67 It's not that it doesn't have sufficient evidence, it's that it doesn't have sufficient explanations. Now I do think it has many good explanations. But there may be some things that it cannot yet explain. And Creation research is probably never going to be published in peer-reviewed science journals because it's explaining a supernatural unscientific event. So naturally it's not published in those journals.

  • @forest51690 Science is the study of nature thus the supernatural has no place in science. And science has uncovered no place for any supernatural event regarding the backgrounds of our origins. The Universe is 13.7 billion years old and the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Humans evolved from animals. Deal with it!

  • To think that Noah and his family were able to gather every single animal in the world (yep, almost a million pair of tiny insects from all over the world, and that's just insects) is just absurd. How do you feed all those animals in a year? Not to mention that you'd need fresh meat all throughout the year to feed the carnivores. And prevent the carnivores from eating the rest, etc. It's just completely absurd to defend this myth with logic.

  • @TheYipedo, I would say that science cannot support this story. But logic can because it encompasses things that science does not. Personally I believe that God orchestrated the whole event so that Noah and the animals were saved in the boat. I think that God drove the animals to Noah, and not the other way around. Also through God's influence, the animals behaved themselves in the ark. Or maybe there were cages. Also, carnivores don't have to live on meat.

  • @forest51690 Obligate carnivores have to eat meat. Not all animals can cross kilometers of oceans separating the continents and walk aimlessly or live very far away from their natural environment. Moreover, logic is a tool of science, thus it only deals with the natural world. Once you invoke supernatural entities and powers (i.e. God magically controlling the animals and creating a global flood), you are then no longer using logic. Logic only applies to the observable universe.

  • @TheYipedo, felines are obligate carnivores, yet there was a lion who lived his whole life in captivity refusing to eat meat or blood. Also, there may have been other types of food before the flood. There is no way of knowing the distribution of animals before the flood. We only know where they are distributed now. Don't think that they migrated from their current places to the ark before the flood.

  • @TheYipedo, As for logic. I would have to disagree with you. You're saying that supernatural entities or events are not logical. Now they are clearly not scientific. But to claim they are not logical is a big claim. So if someone says "there's more than the natural physical universe" then you would say that that's not logical. I would simply have to disagree with you and leave it at that. I don't want to have a lengthy debate about this unless it's via messages.

  • Do yourself a favour.

  • you do realize how many holes there are in this little hypothesis of yours right?

  • @lefayad1991 shed some light

  • When God destroyed the world of Noah's day by means of a global flood, it was so catastrophic that it literally "recreated the world" I believe. Everything that we see around us is the result of that violent recreation. The rainbow is the sign of the covenant that the Lord will never again destroy the world by water. However just as in the days of Noah this world to shall come to an end, Christ is preparing a New Heavens and a New Earth for those who call him Lord.

  • 4:59 indeed it would be very hard to model.

Take into consideration temperature, salinity, point of orgin, and how material dense it was. It came from 2 directions (as rain and as springs of the great deep) so you have one force rising and pushing salt water up from the deep, most likely displacing colder waters, then you have the rain that would have caused landslides and stripped the landscapes clean.

It had to be VIOLENT and quick, in 40 days the waters prevailed over the earth!
