Hmm.. I had "straight pipes" on my old mustang according to the folks at s and r performance, but had flowmaster 40's on them. Well, at any rate, the new stang is due out of the shop on the 7th and I'll be running the borla catback atak system without any cats. Should be loud and I can't wait to here it. Your's sounds good and I love the black on black color theme.
Why is it that the new skool mustangs don't sound as loud as the 99-04??

@larryolveda1 They are not louder. But they do have diffrent sound due to 99-04 being a 2 valve motor and 05+ 3v

I thought straight pipes meant there were no cats?

@odessaboy The x pipe has cats. Straight pipes are just straight through instead of having a muffler.
