i was on bungus beach almost 3 years ago for 4 short days, cant forget that place, it's so pretty! Is that Lake Toba? I'll have to make a trip there! :)
@louiselah Wish I could answer your question but I have trouble remembering what I'm supposed to do each day! Thanks for taking your time to watch and comment. Best regards, Travels With Sheila
@evanruutana Sorry to disagree with you but we saw the lady of the restaurant making the yam chips herself and they were so yummy. Wish to this day I had bought bags of them. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Best regards, Travels With Sheila
I also wanted to say that anyone who was made uncomfortable by anything that happened in this video, tell me what you think it would be like to go to any big city in America or Europe, or anywhere in the western world.Shit happens everywhere; the sooner you get used to that, the sooner you can enjoy places like this in paradise. If you can't get hip to that, I'll just enjoy my own personal heaven in blissful solitude.
I understand that you were totally trying to inspire some interest about this place in the people who watch this video. I am really disappointed with the comments here. I cycled through Sulawesi for sox months total and Indonesia for 2.5 years total. No where has ever come as close to as welcoming and dramatically beautiful as Indonesia. I lived there for five years. I loved it so much, I am moving back next March - for good. I loved Sulawesi so much that I am planning to make it my home.
You sound just like my adult children! That's what travel is...we try to minimize the dangers but there is always an element of discomfort once you get into these regions.
