The new R/T is heavier and less HP... I prefer the definitively the old one that I own. Do not like the rear lights too who look very nice on the Challenger. What is the point to put carbon if at the end the car is heavier ? Sorry for my French writing accent ;-). Mopar or no car ! Love my R/T.
I have one and the sound system sucks. Not that clear, sat radio keeps "aquiring sat" and I think the base is not that good. Is anyone else having same issue?

The only thing I don't think I like about the car is the width of the tires. When it's backing out of the garage, the tires just look too narrow for a muscle car. I might just be seeing things, but that is my opinion.

@0554844777 r/t is still a nice charger...sorry you can't get a srt8 over there. Though you could find mopar parts and upgrade it to near srt8. I can't imagine finding mopar parts are hard to find outside of states....ie black market lol
yeah but they should have concentrated on saudi as a wide market for dodge.. i mean the oil is kinda cheap here you know. most of the middle price sports cars here are chevy Lumina ss which is way worse than the r\t charger. but guess what .. GM knows the value of the V8 in saudi and that's how she sold that crappy car with huge numbers in saudi
big difference between this and the original i mean original has only 290 and the mopar has 375 which is a huge! difference and its a 4 door saloon for 40,000 i mean thats a good price for 375 bhp alpine music system full touch screen system i mean try get that in a mercedes you would pay at least 75,000 or more i think its a great car at least thats my personal opinion :P
@ChargersRockGirl Slightly but most of it's aftermarket upgrades are handling. So in a straight line it will be pretty much the same otherwise this car would preform better.

Make it two doors, 5.7 HEMI(keep it), 47RE Transmission six speed, Penske high Performance shocks! Now thats a real car! not this black and blue sticker!
It looks nice but aside from the strut tower braces it's the same as my R/T Road Track. You're paying a premium for the stripes and badges basicly. When the Mopar does something to the engine, headers, exhust, etc, so it actually stands out performance wise I'll take another look.

@strategy There is 1 thing you need to know before posting comments: 1 watch the video before commenting. The mopar edition charger (as shown in this video) comes with differenent gearing in the differential to give you better acceleration to the standard R/T. It also contains larger sway bars as well as a strut tower brace. Please...watch the damn video or know what youre talking about before you post again sir...thanks
0-60 in the low 5s?? thats soo slow, as quick as a diesel 3.0 A5. i have never heard of a charger having sophisticated handling. i have seen loads of cars wear different badges also, shelby mustangs?? aplina bmw's, the list goes on.

I guess Chrysler was light years ahead back in '78 seeing as how my '11 has heated or cooled cup holders, heated front and rear seats, LED interior trim lights, push button start... Sorry, too much to list, easier just to look at the Dodge website.
