@MiSzManDyPanDy Thanks so much, that is very sweet! He was incredibly sick but was still so happy. I look back at this video now and I cant believe how tiny he actually was :) He has just recently turned 2!
They had to put his IV in his foot and that orange thing was a type of tape they used *kind of like a cast* that they wrapped around it so he would not pull it out.....Or less likely that is lol
he is although right now he has a bit of an ear infection and a cold. we are thank full that that's all it is. Yes it was scary. I was in the hospital with him for the week. Hubby was at home with our 17 yrs old dog. plus in the middle of a bus strike so he could only come to visit twice that hole week it was hard on all of us hoping he doesn't get it again. Well good luck with every thing.
wow scary stuff. WHen my son was in the hospital is oxygen kept dropping when they took him off of it and they had to give him a mask ever 4 hours don't know if I could go threw what you guys are. hoping things work out and that he gets better soon. its so sad to see them go threw something like this so small.
what was wrong with him is he OK. my son was in the hospital for almost a week near the end of Jan with the Virous called RSV it was very scary hope he is better it is always scary when they are sick and you don't know what to do to help them Angie
They think he has some issues with his immune system. He had been sick since the week of Christmas (pneumonia) then went into these high fevers (105) for almost all of January. 3 antibiotics later on Feb.5 I had had enough. They finally sent us in for bloodwork. His WBC was off the charts. They said it should not be that high after all those antibiotics. They admitted him and started running tests. Including three spinal taps :( They found he had Adenovirus 14. Its a rare virus.
They say that virus never gets that bad unless there is a weakened immune system. But since then he has got Pneumonia again along with other things...they are gonna test him after he is a year old for immune deficiencies, thats the plan right now. I hope your lil guy is much better. Thats some really scary stuff.
