I was wondering if you know how to create the same affect that Canon uses in their commercial that shows the football player catching the football while the rest of the background stays still and then the foreground and background mesh soon afterwards. The other affect is the child in the back seat of the car with the window open. His hair than moves but everything freezes momentarily until again the foreground and bacground mesh completing the scene. Any ideas?

when using the garbage matte, after u click the crosshair in the effects tab just simply click on any point to put the point of the matte there. u dont have to click on the existing point and drag it. just a little tip the can give u a little more accurate points.

Hey do you have any videos that illustrate how to make a person come to the front of the screen. The technique is often used in sports to introduce or isolate a player. I constantly have trouble with red color in my videos. Is it possible to correct only the red color, even after you have already correct all the other colors in the frame??

I mean: when my frame is all set with the color already corrected, the red color is too red, and I wish I could make the red a little less saturated. If you can help, I guess it will be very usefull to us! Congrats!

I recently shot video and the sky turned out bright white behind a close up of the subject. There are also trees etc. in view. Is there any way to tone down the sky with some color without impacting everything else?

You could try adding the 3 way color corrector and just bringing down the whites, it'll affect the entire clip but it would make a pretty big difference.
