  • joke is referenced here in this other recording, enjoy!

    watch?v=bvz78RTdTsw

  • That's hilarious :-D

  • Could you tell me a synonim for pull off? I mean, I don't understand the joke (I'm not a native English speaker)

  • @thelinklater

I'm American, not British, but I'm pretty sure I got it -- it was funny in American too. :) When the guy asked "Can you pull off 'Over my shoulder'?" he meant "Can you manage to play 'Over my shoulder'?" But 'pull off' also sounds close to a slang phrase that means 'masturbate to orgasm' -- at least for men -- and so asking him to do it 'over my shoulder' is funny.

  • @NoisyDemocrat I thought it was something like that but I couldn't find any definition for it :P thanks!

  • Unfortunately i couldn`t understand most of what he or the audience is saying.

Sounds very funny. Can anybody write the subtitle for me, please?!

John Bramwell is a brilliant entertainer, maybe he is a genius, too.

  • @MmeduLac he botches the beginning of Proof and as he makes a few cracks at himself "the mystique of the intro is kind of lost" it seems like he may just move on in the set and someone from the audience asks "can you pull off 'over my shoulder?'". to which he immediately replies "could i what?" poor choice of words on the requesters behalf but it makes for some real off the cuff comedy.

  • superb!

  • Well done on getting this. It was a very funny moment (and a very good gig).

  • I'm so glad someone got this on video. class!
