you have to use spyros earth attack to get the elites armour off

i mean the elemental barrier? how do you get it to come off?

with the fury breath or the same element as the barrier. once thats off you can fight him normally

Just the mask's color.For Cynder,if it is red you have to use fear,if it is white you have to use air,if it is black you have to use shadow and if it is light green you have to use poison.For Spyro,if it is blue you have to use ice,if it is orange you have to use fire,if it is dark green and brown you have to use earth and finally if it is light yellow you have to use electricity.Or,you can do none of these and just use the special attack.You know the one you take when the purple bar is full....

The best way to defeat the elite enemy is to have fury. After the elemental barrier comes off, constantly use cynder's shadow element.
