I find it fascinating that this 'reporter' takes it on herself to personally oppose Farage as opposed to interviewing him. Her whining is like that of Rachel Maddow on MSNBC here in the US, the chief difference being that she's probably still more intelligent than Maddow. I thought Nigel handled her very well and kept his cool, making her attacks backfire so that she looked like the lefty fool that she is.

Unfortunately this is quite common for BBC's political and news sector.

They are openly biased (they admitted to it) and regularly attack and provoke guests (often subtly) who they don't agree with.

I have come to the conclusion though that there is no such thing as a true unbiased news channel.

For that, you would need robots. If there is emotion, there is opinion, and if there is opinion, there is bias.

It was gutsy for him to loosely compare his movement to the Tea Party here. While there are differences between the two, I would like to believe that the quest for liberty and national sovereignty transcends countries. And if the EuroSkeptic movement and the success of Nigel and UKIP are any indications, my belief is not misplaced. Down with the EU from the USA and keep up the good work! The UK should be governed by the People of the UK, not bureaucrats in Wash. D.C, Brussels, or anywhere else.
