yeah ive got it for my zune hd, best app ive got, and now zune doesnt even have that... PLUS the verstion for the zune alows the user to choose ANY SONG from his/her zune to play to... unlike the iTouch

In my opinion, this game sux. This is so different from the other taptap games. Riddim Ribbon is something like Audiosurf and then u'll have to tilt your device all the time , i dont like that, TTR3 ftw

I don't like tapulous anymore they are too money hungry.

for example, apple has allowed apps to access to the music library on the ipod and iphone, but Tapulous did not allow us to play our own songs in tap tap, even though they are allowed to. Instead we have to pay a dollar for a song in tap tap. WTF?

Download Tap Studio it is exactly like tap tap, and allows you to play your own songs :).

if people were allowed to make their own music, the whole point of TAp TAp being social would no longer exist.

Moreover, how would challenges be sent? and

Online play? everyone must have the same song. IF this were to be implemented, Tapulous could get sued by some record company because it may seem like they allow the sharing of pirated songs (assuming you don't pay for songs)

Um sorry to tell you but i am calm :) and Tapulous is money hungry sorry to tell you :) tap tap was much better when it was for jailbroken devices, until tapulous bought it and said you can't play your own songs because apple doesn't allow it. WELL APPLE NOW ALLOWS SO WHERE IS THAT FEATURE?! Tapulous can let you play your own songs and continue to give you downloadable songs to play online just like tap tap revolution did! and no one would get sued look at tap tap studio they havent gotten sued!

From what I know, apps can access the API to play music, but can't actually access the music that's being played - so can't read the beat as it's being played to generate the beat tappers on the fly. They'd be completely random and wouldn't match the beat at all.

Actually that's not true they can access the music being played just go on the app store at look at the app called tap studio or the app called beatrider. Both are pretty much the same concept as tap tap, and they allow you to play songs from your music library and yes they generate beats, but also allow you to create your own song using your music.

This is not a "riddim" game, you don't need to follow any kind of rythm, you don't need to stick to the song with a particular rythmic gameplay, this is monkey ball-like gameplay with a track and THE WORST: Without bananas :)
