$74 000 a year is nothing near pitiful and it sounds kind of arrogant for you to say that. If you want to actually do something with your life, you shouldn't be limited by how much money you make. I'm studying to become a registered nurse and I don't expect to be rich. Money is everything only to complete soulless losers.
I live well on 40,000 a year. gimme a break on what's pitiful.
