  • 6:50

So you could do... widdly widdly widdly widdly widdly

  • Can anyone be this good? lol

  • @danbenkert thanks! love the podxt too..i should make a song out of that idea some day :)

  • Hey man i was looking around on youtube for some satriani style solos and i found your video. Dude this song (and lesson) are just amazing!!! Very natural and warm sound with some cool licks. Definitely the best lesson and one of the most beautiful things i´ve ever heard. Congratulations !!!

  • @raulgx wow thanks!

  • GUTHRIE GOVAN STUFF PLEASEEEEE.

  • 7:09 reminds me of Coroner Nosferatu kinda haha you are a really good guitar player

  • that beginning solo was one of the best things i ever heard in my life, you are amazing!

  • @maitallica thanks, i just made that up on the fly!

  • Can you post your effects chain settings? I love the really warm sound you are getting.

  • @pheervegas thanks! i use a line6 podxt with the Satch Forgotten patch available on line6 website but the amp model is ms-deity lead, cabinet 4x12 green 25's, screamer distortion, stereo delay, rich chamber reverb. guitar has EMG active pickups.

  • @wkriski thank you very much! I have the Line 6 Pod X3 so I'm going to try this :)

  • @wkriski How often do you have to change the batteries in EMG active pickups?

    BTW great vids

  • @Kaitano94 the battery can last years since it doesn't draw much power. Having said that make sure you unplug the cable from the guitar as leaving it in seems to drain it more quickly

  • i will be studying this lesson for some time today... thanks will! great help!

  • thats some smooth playing!

  • dude, why don't you make your own album? i would definitely bet you're gonna have a very large fan base

  • Great lesson man!

  • i saw a video on here from a guitarist and he said the real legato is only hammer ons i don't if thats true or

  • @guitaristman23 no you can pick some notes - you generally have to when you play on a new string, unless you use what I talked about hammering on from nowhere on a new string.

  • You are a great guitarist , you should be jamming with Zakk and Lynch .....Thank You for the teaching segments.

  • @bdb818888 wow thanks, that would be awesome!

  • Great tone. What are you using?

    Thanks

  • @loveguitars I use line6 podxt with my ibanez rg guitar & EMG pickups..lots of cool patches and amp models

  • sweet stuff man as always.

I can play caged with any scales/modes right?

  • @Joskun yes the way I teach it is 5 major scale shapes (key of C) which is also the same for all the modes (same notes just different starting note). great thing is these are movable shapes for other keys, and the human brain is good at recognizing/remembering shapes

  • @wkriski then im noy a human... good lesson!!!

  • Excellent

  • cool stuff mate thanks
