The difference is very small. id have like to have seen you test this in a high population area such as a main city in wow. Also id like to know some more info such as the specks of both computers. And what was the ping of both computers.
If the one with the killer in is a computer then obviously it's gunna show the jump first because movement is clientside (If you jump disconnected you can still jump) so in that case the card has NOTHING to do with it
Err... *LOL*? What does that prove? You can always see your own jumps with a lower lag, since the info, that you jumped has to be transfered first. You need a third, sending the info, if you want to prove anything.
I think they really should do this with with same computer to proof something. Just using dualboxing and software which sends data to both running games at same time. First show it with motherboard unit and then killernic unit and see the difference.
even that other computers has same parts and same OS installed in, they are still unique computers and always will be.
Each components has quality difference and each components has billion tiny parts which have their own quality. And what comes to OS, there are so many things which may effect. You never can't be sure what's difference on first OS installation or second one and how files are localized in hard drivers as physically
also really think it should be done to test the system with what you said, have witnessed some NIC in action like the performance of the same hope that when my purchase has neither a problem!
The system w/ the killer card receives the jump much faster than the other computer. Impressive considering the following:
The card has enough of an impact that simply pushing 1 button showed a quicker response than the other system. IF that is just 1 button, think about all the keyboard buttons+mouse clicks that are in use constantly.
I love my Killer K1 & Xeno Pro. Definitely kills all the client side lag issues & gets my shots/spells in FIRST above others who don't use a killer nic. =D
Test of muropaketti from first product of Killernic M1 (more power than K1),
"Killernic says it needs that massive coolingelement cause killernic uses so much network-data" <- Hey when I'm using my computer I can even kiss the K-cooling element without feeling any warm here..
"In the first test for some reason the computer rebooted itself on everytime time after another always after installing killernic drivers. Problem could not be solved so we switched another motherboard"
"There was more problems on killernic. If booted while killernic was removed, windows deside to reboot on everytime, only choice to there was install killernic to pci, uninstall drivers and then remove killernic" What if killernic gets broken, format c?
"At the end of test Killernic started new kind of problem -after opening the killernic configuration table the computer rebooted itself. There could not found any solution so desided to remove killernic and put it into "not-so-satisfied-product"
This video could proof that killernic uploads information alot alot slower than basic networkadapter:
PLayer with normal PC jumps and it's sent to wow-realm, then wow-realm sents the information to the player with killernic and he saw it fast happening fast.
Ok then it's killernic's turn. He pressed the jump-key -and as always the player's own PC shows graph before sending it, now the data is sent to wow-realm takes alot more time than without knic
hrm, either my eyes are deceiving me, or both latencies are the same.
Also unless they are running a private wow server, there is going to be pretty much the same server lag. Now I am not bashing these cards, just I have been looking everywhere for a true benchmark if these NIC's actually make a noticeable difference.
I am interested in these cards if they actually work, especially with their new Killer Xeno Pro that came out, just I wanna see them actually help before I drrop $200

this has nothing to do with the Nic, you're seeing it earlier because of the general ping to the wow server.
julianakaff888 2 years ago
And you're asking how is it possible, because both Pcs are on the same internet?
The killer nic have activated Nagle Algorithm in the regestry of Windows, but the other nic have it standard disabled..
It's a big fake/blame to advertise with a free regestry "hack"

does the xeno pro connects to a wireless network
coakisit 2 years ago
It is not for wireless gaming. it has to be connected directly to an ethernet line.
azurehydra 2 years ago
im sure it could be wireless if his PC was the "host" pc for the wireless.

"These benchmarks says that FPS dropped a little when Killernic installed"
"It was almost impossible to say which was better at latency, killernic or RTL8111B" (Motherboard's integrated"
those above as I'been translated some parts

This proofs nothing.
Killerunit uploads the data alot slower than motherboard's unit, thats all about it.
Ye I've bought two killernic network adapters and not seeing any improvements at anywhere exept killernic software eating small piece of ram.

ps it took 5 minutes to upload these two messages ^^

Well, in that case the card is worth $19, not $179. lol
