i love them old trucks we have a few and had a lot over the years they last a long time we have a 79 f150 supercab with a 351 mod in it me and my dad r building me a 67 f100 the black truck is gonna donate it's life to build my truck but when i get older cuz im only 17 im gonna rebuild it and restore that old supercab bin in the family for years

Yep this is proof there was a time when Ford actually used to build a good truck. Now days nothing but a bunch of shitty F series rolling down the road with the tires bowed out looking like they are ready to fall off any minute. Maybe someday Ford will figure out how to build a front end on their trucks again. Until then I will drive my GMs. Great video and hell of a nice truck man.

guess what i have one of these and i also have a 79 but my 69 has a 390 big block in it and i looked all over for a 6 speed and finnaly found one but i like mine to much to put it in the mud but my 79 is 4x4 and it goes in the mud all the time it ahs a 302

SWEET i will be looking for them! by the way, where did you get your roll bar or is it custom made? If so, i would definately like to have the dimensions. I have a roll bar for mine but it is for a short bed, it looks alright but not near as nice as yours!

@71highboy, Hold onto that truck, don't let it go, only 3400 f100 4x4s were produced in 67, there were only 3800 f250 4x4s that year, i had a cjance to get a 67 f250 4x4 for $600, needed a carb, i passed it up as i did not need it, after i found out how few 4x4s were made that year i regreted it.

this videos good inspiration to me, i got a 69 f 250 camper special that sits on a 95 f 150 frame with a 302 fuel injected, 5 speed, 4x4, that is my project right now, im 18 and this is what i was aiming for, i like that rollbar also, nice truck.

OK I'm a die-hard chevy guy and at least I'm man enough to admit that this is a pretty sweet ford. Love the sound! Who cares if its a little choppy and not smoothe? My philosophy is that they don't make em like they used to. So many people just go out and buy brand new trucks.  I admire people who invest in the oldies. I just bought an 87 silverado and my girlfriend's dad asked me "why so new? I thought you were into old trucks? XD
