I was playing with the Akai Miniak today kinda fun although its fairly tough to program. I guess in my research it seems like the TI Snow is the most versatile va on the market although I think I need a fair bit of money to get one lol.

@guitarharpsichord Its a brilliant synth! Very powerful oscillators and versatile too really recommend it. Not sure about Prophet08 but its a brilliant synth in its own right sure it will play well with anything :)
