Hey man......awesome videos and what a string bendin' fool......this way you can have a 3 piece and sound like a 4 piece without having to put up with an arrogant ass steel player. LOL
I read some dumb comments here. Fender did this (Clearence White Signature Model). very cool. it won't limit your ability, only YOU limit your ability. I think it's great. all these guys who talk down to you are just jealous, they also wish they had a B-Bender Tele. Those are some of the coolest Teles around. How much do you charge for the conversion?
Sneaky Pete is rollin in his grave man! His gizmo still occupies a Tele in my stable with the G bender part of the guitar and part of the B bender ala Parsons & White. Glasser? I don't want to bash a product so I will leave it at that, and same for Parsons Green. This may trump them all at once. You are not "dancing" with the guitar to pull the string tone up and down. My spine likes this idea. Especially after hulking around one of my old full weight Les Pauls for 45 minutes.
yea hi teck is realy taking over , first drum machines and B - Benders , , dam it soon you will just have to stand there while the guitar plays itsefe , i allways new it would come to this ,, lol
@vodtap Yeah----------That's right. The FCC can't say jack about you flashing a graphic saying either buy it, or just send money to a PO box. I love your design. I won't say where I think you got the drop design from on an open forum. I are a luthier two. Love you Basset Hounds. You of all people should know Bassets can't jump. Great dogs. I have a very spoiled Canaan Dog who watches the shop while I am away. Seeing her run past with a $150 6L6 tube in her mouth is common. Aint broke one yet!
Tim, love the benders man!!!!!! how did you get into doing so many benders and changes on a six string.......were you a steel player in a past life?????? I am a steel player.......and I love the sound of what you are doing with the drops and benders on electric guitar, some might say that you are trying to emulate steel guitar with this, but it has a totally different "timbre", tone, and sound to me......I LIKE IT!!!! Keep doing what you are doing
It's a great invention, but the b-lever slips at the post ever since I bought it... no matter how tight the connection to the post. I think it would be a huge improvement to have serrated posts, which would eliminate the sipping.
Yes it is A great invention! concidering the price come on give Tim some slack here! G&B bender what would You pay search it! Bet over $400 to $500 he his very fair and A true guitarest at that and good one!
That is interesting I always thought people just bent the notes the normal way for country. That would make it so much easier. And like Hellebender said you can bend another string with your finger while using the B bender as well.
Now anyone know if someone uses a ebow with slide guitar and a b bender? that would be sick.
@vodtap You should have also told him to leave town, and never log onto a computer again or we will track him down withing 5 minutes. I have used the old Bigsby palm paddles, and Parsons White benders, and the Dusenberg paddles. I like all of them. Your stuff is just plain cool as can be. The drop tuners for the E and A string are awesome. The can will and do what the others can't won't and don't. The B & G bender is a super slick & smooth way to raise and lower pitch, and I are a luthier too!
On the front guitar strap pin it is connected to a mechanism inplanted in through the back of the guitar and goin all the way to the bridge and bends the b string. by pullin up and down on the strap it moves that strap pin and activates the bender.
still. you worded it wrong. bending a string causes it to tighten. wich causes it to get a higher pitch. you can bend it "both ways" but it still only gets higher in pitch. i know what you meant but you worded it wrong
Is the Timara bender the best one to buy right now? I've been wanting to buy a bender for my tele for a while now, and I know there's several competing models out there. . .
i have been playing a hipshot b&g bender for about 10 years now[listening to donahue and ray helps] but how can 'you' bend them both at the same time [also in opposite directions]?
think about what you just said. bending is bending. you cant bend 2 ways. bending gives you a higher note. in order to get a lower one. you either unbend. or loosen the string someway
since nobody seems to be answering your question for you...I use a bbender...and yes...you can bend opposite directions..one up while releasing the other. That's the main reason i started using a b-bender. I will either prebend the b up with the bender or the g with my finger...and release one while bending up the other. Hope this helps.
what i am asking about your bender is can you prebend one note with either bender and while lowering that note [prebent] raise the second note at the same time.[Bending in opposite directions at the same time]- it can be done without benders also just using your fingers or behind the nut.So think about what i am saying-you can bend two ways!!!

Sounds good, but Does Albert Lee use one, or did Danny Gatton use one? I think it is a limiting tool to one's development.
