Love the video with the mix of history and coverage of the region as well as the river itself. Well done! My only question is why on both views of Big Bluff start with typical river scenery, but the scene cuts out before you actually get to see the entire bluff which is one of the amazing features on the river. Other than that love the video!
@themarcusallen Thanks for the kind words. When you live 900 miles away from a place, sometimes we're compromised by not having everything turn out to be as usable as you had hoped when you return home. That is especially true trying to shoot footage from a moving kayak! But I appreciate your comments and am glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video, I enjoyed it very much. I know it took alot of time and effort to put this together...top notch!! What video program did you use to put this together?
I used Sony Vegas Pro for the video editing. For things like the Arkansas and National Park maps, I used Corel Draw with the terrain shading shading coming from DEM data from the US Geological Survey. For the simulations (like the cave formation) I used Bryce 7.0, also with the USGS data.
It's a little tricky but if you wanted additional info I would be happy to help.
