Technically, this isn't a "game." It's a mod. And much of its content is comprised of Valve's intellectual property. Clearly you are not familiar with the modding scene - many, many mods get shot down via lawsuits.

In a way, im glad Valve decided to let another team work on this game. If they didnt, it would be a few more years until it could be released. Remember, Valve is working on Episode 3, so if they were going to make this one too, it would delay the release date for both of them even more. I hope its the same voice actors in this game as it is in Valve's HF series.

Because back in the days with left4Dead in development, people were saying it's a mod from Source Engine. And now, doesn't even look like a simple mod. I hope this game takes that following path.

This is being made entirely independently. Valve gave the modders permission to remake HL1 and this is the result.

Well, technically Valve didn't actually try to make what Black Mesa Source is. They just added the source engine to half life 1. Also, Half-Life 1 is one of the most consistent sellers on Steam. This means that Valve will either buy the team and the mod and sell it, OR they'll shut it down. One or the other. It's sad, but true. That's how the gaming world works.
