Just seen the episode last night, you need to see it to know why it's like that. *SPOILER* Casey looked that way, way before she was norah was married to george and casey was going to a private school and looked sort of nerdy, she also has a retainer. It's a great episode you should watch it :)

Quit calling Casey ugly, she is still super gorgeous, and Derek is still the truly scrumptiously smexiness guy on this earth. His new hair looks so soft and inviting.. I could almost feel like taking a nap in it, hehe (note: that is not my line, I got that line from drake and josh, and thought it fit perfectly for Derek's new hair haha).
