  • msi wind u100 is has nice performance, but have the most crappy parts, my battery shutsdown my lappie when running on battery, >_<

  • how do i get wifi for my wind?

  • @13Wingnutt hold blue fn key in bottom left corner and hit f11 at the same time

  • how can i activate bluetooth on my msi u100? i already did the fn + f11 repeatedly but the bluetooth light did not turn on. help!!!!

  • my msi wind u100 battery sucks .. i need to buy new one :D

  • Does anyone know where can i find this batterie pack?

  • @psihopatak Duh! ebay?~

  • WOA, does any U100 has the OC settings in BIOS, if they does then it's completely the netbook for me since i overclock almost anything i got.

  • from BIOS 1.09 onwards you can overclock it in steps of 8%, 15% and 24%. At the max setting you're running at 1.98GHz, which puts abreast with a fast P4 with hyperthreading.

  • really nice mate

  • I find that in many cases, its better than the 3.02GHz P4 wHT in my desktop

  • So uh, how much does this weigh exactly? I haven't been able to find much info on it. 3 cell one was about 1kg (2.2 pounds?). With 9 cell it's probably heavier, but by how much?

I'm kinda wondering if the weight is actually similar to Asus Eee 1000HE (1.45kg with 6 cell)... Probably not?

  • i will but it !

  • My satellite toshiba gives me about 20 minutes lol

  • Same as my old gateway 20 mins or less

  • lithium ion cells age, they lose 10-30% of their max charge per year, that is why they work worse years later, they are like perishable food

  • Totally like a perishable food because a bag of chips spoils one chip at a time at an extremely low rate, right?

  • bag of chips? one at a time? what are you talking about

lithium ion cells spoil faster than refined sugar

  • First of all refined sugar doesn't spoil at all*unless it gets wet*; SECOND of all I was being sarcastic because lithium ion batteries slowly degrade over a relatively long period and it only loses a bit of the total charge each time, unlike a bag of chips which goes all at the same time, or any other food really.

  • wow, guys that argue about how food expires....IT'S JUST A FIGURE OF SPEECH

  • "____ spoils faster than refined sugar," is a saying?

  • Yup,the MSI Wind U100 9 Cell Battery is all that and a bag of chips ...couldnt resist :-)

  • *head explodes*

  • mine too i bought it 7 years ago and now it gives me 20 minutes battery life!

  • WHAT 9000?

  • Nice vid. Any overclock benchies out there?

  • lol i think this is 1 april but ill watch

  • wow it looks real xD

  • It is real.

  • yea :)

  • great vid. There is actually a 8700mah battery for the asus eee pc.

  • But it still cannot defeat the powerful Asus eee pc 1000HE .... first of all ASUS have a internal software built in to let people overclock just by choosing 3 selections. Mine able to clocked at 1.76GHz on the maximum , some others able to get higher but it consumes a lot of battery life. I also managed to clock my ram using that SHE software Asus Given to 800MHz. MSI WIND products are alright but not that good as HP and asus or Acer

  • bios overclock here, so 2ghz. No one actually care we probably all use setfsb

  • thats how a laptop should be! wonder how well that thing overclocks

  • over 9000 mhz :D

  • ovar 9000! i wish ;(

  • Nice.
