He married Khadeja for her piety not for her money. During the life of Khadeja the Prophet never married again. Only after her death he married other women.
Infact he set an example by marrying an older woman and a widow for the people who look down upon widows and consider them inferior.

When he gave the invitation of Islam to his tribe, they offered him a huge amount of wealth and the most beautiful girls in Mecca and asked him to leave what he is preaching yet he refused their offer. @gauravdubeygzb To understand the marriage of Prophet Muhammad with Ayesha you have to study the whole Islam not just to look at surface level.Regarding the real age of Ayesha there have been many controversies.Secondly at that time it was the custom among Arabs to marry young girls and age of a man or woman regarding marriage was not a big issue as Prophet Muhammad also married a woman who was 15 years older than him, his first wife "Khadeja" who was 40 and Prophet was only 25 when they married

@Zeno1999 No he didn't marry her for money or prestige because he himself belonged to the tribe of "Quresh" who was considered the most prestigious among all. He married Khadeja for her piety not for her money. During the life of Khadeja the Prophet never married again. Only after her death he married other women.
Infact he set an example by marrying an older woman and a widow for the people who look down upon widows and consider them inferior.

What is the purpose of creating another religion when old/new Testament has just about everything there to worship God and live a virtuous life ? Do you know how many failed attempts are made to create new religions every 100 yrs ? A lot.

When he gave the invitation of Islam to his tribe, they offered him a huge amount of wealth and the most beautiful girls in Mecca and asked him to leave what he is preaching yet he refused their offer. Had money or wealth his only objective he would have accepted their offer. i would suggest u to read the history of Islam before commenting anything negative about our Prophet.
