@Airsoftangles We're looking at having Piper's Precision Products manufacture them again but it is still pending at this time. We will be updating our website when we have more information to share.
The Predator Package is meant to work only with the Piper's Precision Products M-134A, A1 and A2. Other manufacturers may not be compatible or would require gunsmithing.
for some reason a airsoft mini gun just dosnt catch my eye i still think paintball might be a little better give u props airsoft guns look real but paintball feels real
@MrChilly2468 We actually have a pre-owned M-134A available currently. More information about it including photos and pricing can be found at our website.
"i am heavy airsoft guy, and this is my weapon. she weighs 15 kilograms and fires 0.003 cent, custom 6 millimeter .25 gram plastic bb's at a rate of 3000 rounds per minute... it costs one dollar and eighty cents to fire this weapon... for 12 seconds."
@Noble4EmileA239 It can hold the Co2 tanks which propels the BB downrange and the battery on older M-134A models which powers the motor which rotates the barrel. But besides that, its strictly cosmetic. An external loading device was developed and in theory could be stored in the Predator Package, but it had difficulties loading BB's if the minigun was turned in particular ways causing sharp angles in the feeding tube. The external loader worked best on the Blackhawk model.
@KauaiBoy1203 Airsoft are for those people who otherwise cannot purchase a real firearm for various reasons such as due to the cost or because they are not legal in their area. They also can be used in wargames and for force-on-force training which obviously cannot be achieved with real firearms. They also serve as low cost plinker that can used often times legally and safely in the backyard unlike even the most affordable .22.
The footage was taken several years ago using the best consumer video camera technology available which admittedly is very poor compared to modern standards.
The Piper's Precision Products M-134A2 Vulcan Minigun is of very high quality. Several years worth of R&D was spent on perfecting and refining the feed and firing system and the unit is made of CNC aircraft aluminum with Delrin internals. It is very reliable and offers great performance.
We define it as an airsoft gun due to the fact it can fire plastic 6mm airsoft BB's. However since it can fire also 6mm metal BB's it can be defined also as an airgun. So its both depending on the BB type used.
For 5 grand it sounds pretty damn lame. I would have just bought some souped up guns with all Systema parts, 6.01 barrel, 12V battery. More versatile (probably better specs). And you could probably buy 4-5 of them and just throw them away when they break. Just about the equivalent waste of money.
The Piper's Precision Products Strafer Mark 4 Model 0 made by the same company who made this M-134A1 Airsoft Vulcan Minigun, is better suited for that role.
A limited quantity of Piper's Precision Products M-134A2 Vulcan Airsoft miniguns are currently available for sale. The cost is $5,500 for the Basic Package. More information can be found at the X-Caliber Tactical website.
The Piper's Precision Products M-134A2 Vulcan Airsoft Minigun uses a hybrid system comprised of an electric motor to turn and load each barrel and a compressed air source (Co2 or HPA) to fire the BB's.
It can shoot either airsoft plastic BB's or specially made 6mm metal BB's. Obviously the metal BB's should NEVER be used for airsoft wargame nor less-than-lethal use.
I do believe what you're seeing is just the ground and not the BB's. This particular video is one of the older ones we made and it only exists in lo-resolution. As a result, it is very pixelated to where you cannot see the details unlike our newer footage.
The camera unfortunately cannot capture the footage in real time and has limitations reguard the frame rate. So as a result the barrel rotation does look slower than it actually is and the stream of BB's are not usually seen in the video.
how long does the battery last? Same question for CO2. Number of shots and battery amperage too please. War games mean nothing if you your in game endurance is only about half an hour!.
The M-134A2 uses a 14.4V 1500mAh battery. It uses a low draw motor so the battery can literally be used for an entire day's worth of play. Typically the 2.5lb Co2 tank will last two hoppers full of BB's or about 11,000 rounds. But with the high rate of fire, the Co2 may be consumed quickly. If set to high velocities (we recommend no more than 450 FPS for skimishing) that will be consumed even faster. So I would recommend extra Co2 tanks for extended play use.
Airsoft BB's can sting but its not overwhelmingly painful nor lasts very long. However at closer ranges or fired at higher velocities or if struck by a concentrated burst or a combination of what was mentioned, it can be relatively unpleasant!
Yes, it can be used for skimishes and the velocity is adjustable between 250 - 600 FPS. For wargame use, we recommend the velocities to be at 350 - 450 FPS but we personally recommend about 400 FPS for safety's sake. However check with the field regulations on what the legal velocity limits are for play.
As long as the purchaser is over the age of 21 and there are no regional restrictions regarding airsoft ownership and use, sales can be conducted to your location into Massachusetts.
We are based in Austin, Texas and the Piper's Precision Products M-134A2 Vulcan Airsoft Minigun is $5,500 for the basic package. More information can be found at our website.
At higher velocities and closer ranges, airsoft guns have been known to cause injury. Thus for wargaming use there are restrictions on velocity and sometimes engagement ranges. And for high rate of fire pieces such as the minigun and Strafer, we actually recommend "strafing" the target left to right and with a short controlled burst, so not to have a tight grouping of rounds strike the player's body.
The M-134A1 and M-134A2 are capable of velocities as high as 600 FPS by simply replacing the regulator but for airsoft skirmishing we recommend 400 FPS, though some fields may permit up to 450 FPS.
when do you think you wil have your mini guns for sale agian? and im also wondering if the predator packae will only work for your minigun?
