I dont know if u figured it out yet, but u can charge the 3DS without the cradle. You can use the ac adapter by itself.

Nice unboxing vid Zero. Good to see more about the 3DS. Been curious abouyt this myself, still on the fence about it. I'd like to see some ore gameplay before shelling out $250. Maybe when the price goes down. I don't even play my regular DS anymore anyway, hah. And I saw a specs comparison between all the DS handhelds that said the 3DS only had between 3-6 hours of battery life before it died, wasn't too keen on that.
