The themes are "Polonaise" (I don't know the composer, sorry^^, "Julien et Barbara" (Georges Delerue)and "Dark Chariot" (Peer Raben)
I think 2046 is more subtil, more mature than In The Mood For Love. Huge Movie, Powerful, Painful, "sentimentful"? ^^ A really Precious Movie Thanks a lot and the video is amazing !
There are a few technical errors, but as a tribute, it's very kind. Wong Kar-Wai is a genius, Zhang Zi Yi was gorgeous on screen, and 2046 broke my heart and mended it all at once. Thanks for sharing your art.
Thank you - I feel the same way about the film. If you haven't, you should see the prequel, "in the mood for love", which is more subtle but equally strong.
You used corel...or what? how can you paint sooooo cool on that program? i use photoshop for this kind of tasks... what tools? what brushes? TELL ME EVERYTHING! xD I had been trying to paint like this for two years!
I used to paint with a customized oil pastel brush (in this painting, the david lynch one and the jessica biel one); I think it's set to circular, single, cover, grainy soft cover (in 'brush creator'). I almost always only use one brush for the entire picture. Corel is better for making real-bristle paitings, I think, while photoshop is better for photorealism-effects.
Beautiful.

I likes the song(s) :). What are they both called and whom would it be that composed them?

I can't recall at the moment, but they are taken from the soundtrack for 2046 the movie ,so you should be able to find them easily.

Corel Painter X, I think. Same as using photoshop cs 3, though, it's more a question of customized brushes.

Right now I'm practicing using the airbrush in corel, like my newest paiting, and I think its working out good.
I'm glad you like it - thanks for the comment!
