i also think Goku is the best, partly for your same reasons. but Vegeta is super awesome too! You feel kind of guilty for thinking he's so awesome, beCAUSE he's also so evil in the beginning, but he is just a BAD ASS, and very rational and shrewd. My other favorites are android 16 and Gohan. supreme kai and piccolo, and the japanese krillin are all really really great too!!!! such an amazing show!

what made me fall in love with the show was,on DBZ Kai, when Vegeta was holding Dadoria's fat arms behind his back, nearly breaking them,yelling about how he had been gaining strength on the front lines while Dadoria and Zarbon were sucking up to Frieza getting softer, and this AWESOME music was playing in the background. it was incredible!!!!!

People who hate subtitles shouldn't watch anime if they like dub so much why not go watch american cartoons where it doesn't have subtitles. Not all dub anime is that good with voice acting i know i watch lot of them most sucks.

Eventually, I intend to start my own freelance design business. I want to start working for a local company to learn the business than break off on my own after a few years experience. The japanese sucks. Goku's voice isn't an old grandma. The english dub is the best anime dub. The other dubs suck though.

@AnthonyYaff Hey don't hate on the orginial dragonball voices. Thats goku real voice not the dub from funimation. Akira Toriyama is the one chose that grandma voice you hate to voice goku in japanese.

i think the original japanese is 5 times better. ... you get used to even Goku's japanese voice after a while, and it feels really weird going back to hearing the american dubs later.

I grew up with both DBZ and Sailor Moon, since the mide/late 90s (probably more towards the end).

I have a lot of DBZ VHS tapes. I also have the end of season 1, all of season 2 except the last DVD, season 3, & season 4 of Sailor Moon on DVD.

Pretty much the 1st two animes I seen besides Speed Racer.

Nice video response and it's totally awesome seeing another female a part of the Dragonball universe. Dragonball Z is totally awesome and it my favorite show ever and am absolutely looking forward to Dragonball Z Kai coming to the US next month on Nicktoons/Nickeloen. A lot of the time, when I watch a show in it's own language and format (aka UNCUT w/subtitles hopefully), to me, it seems that the emotions and feelings come through the way they were meant to be. And some shows have that "Quirky-ness" that can't be duplicated any other way. I guess that's what I find charming about them. LOL!
