when a meteor hits the atmosphere it decelerates, this is common sense, apollo 4 hit the atmosphere at 10.7 km/s, do you think their chutes would have opened at that speed?

Hold on a minute. Meteors can *look* like they are changing speed when viewed at an angle. As they head away from camera, they appear to be slowing down, and can also get a little brighter, thus seeming to fly parallel to earth. However a lot of meteors tend to flare up much more noticeably and none of the objects in this video do that. Their illumination seems pretty steady, and if you look carefully, they're objects going in every which direction. And FAST.
