That was a very very extra large place, I think it held over 1,000 people... It was a school auditorium and Latinos love to feel the bass... I normally take 2 speakers, those Jbl's on top of the stage are good for up to 250 people... which most weddings are for me..

I don't know, I have never used Virdual DJ. Serato does NOT have an auto mix option or it does not match the beats, you have to do that...

I say if it's there, you are more likely to use it than if it's not... But some people, like me, don't use it just because you want to get better at mixing and that challenge of always being on cue... It's challenging, it's fun, and gives you something to do, instead of just waiting for the right time to hit the play button (boring). I also don't use pre-mixed music, everything is mixed live!

No, there is no DJ School that I know of, Just practice Mixing Music at home and videotape yourself making mixes and talking on the mic. That's the best way to improve.

Moving heads are the American DJ Spot 250's and those subs sound good almost as good as the b52's and the Cerwin vegas... But since they are 15's they don't thump as hard

Only thing I don't like about traktor right now, and the only reason I still use Serato, is that if you do any changes to traktor you have to re-register it, if you are out in the middle of nowhere, then you are in serious trouble... u need the internet to activate it. Traktor scratch I bought last year about a month after it came out.

no, usually just adding another hard drive or changing the hard drive from one slot to another, or changing the actual sound card box from one usb to another.

I think Traktor > Serato though... It runs much lighter on the pc, it has all sorts of cool FX, It's been around a lot longer, it's always owned all other software, and it reads wma files (Serato doesn't). The browsing feature is the BEST out there. I miss that because you browse folders and it reads from the ID3 tag, not the filename.
