I hope you read this comment, but I doubt it because you have so many videos and so many comments. I just wanted to ask how easy you find French because I am considering learning French :-)
@lingosteve I meant, what I wrote in my first message was regarding the Chinese version of "Who Is She", but I couldn't write it in the first message box because I had already exceeded the 500 character limit.
I just think that the grammar and the characters used are pretty advanced stuff for someone starting from scratch, but I also realize that this is so because the story has to be the same in all languages.
Start with greetings and goodbyes. As I said we would love to have more beginner content, as we have in other languages. At any rate, the resources are there. Please enjoy.
I've just tried out LingQ in a couple of languages, and it is a great resource! However, when I looked at the Chinese version, I was quite shocked. I have been learning Chinese for some time now, but I was lost already on part 2! I know that this story is supposed to be parallel in all languages, and this might indeed work well for Spanish, French, etc., but Chinese is different. I just don't really think comparison, classifiers like 栋, etc. are suited for a "Beginner 1" in Chinese.
We rely on our members for content. WE hope to get more. Meanwhile, I would still recommend you stay with our content. The key to language learning is to not expect to learn or nail down anything. Just listen over and over, and if there are words you cannot remember, or choose not to, no sweat. Language learning is not for perfectionists.
I really enjoy LinQ's function. However, SRS CAN be fun, and CAN be helpful, if you do it right. What I mean by right is only put stuff in there you enjoy. Like a book? Like a particular sentence in that book? Put it in! The moment it becomes not so, delete it. I do a little bit of it all. I SRS, I do LinQ, and I do a lot of READING and LISTENING outside of both.
Thank you Steve for providing us all with such great tools and helpful and motivating words.
You should put a link to your website in the info area for each of your videos. That way people know where to go to see your website. Otherwise they'll have to do a google search.

@SchwarzerMannn I cannot answer that question. All that matters is whether you want to learn the language.

(Regarding the story "Who Is She", but there wasn't enough space.)
Looking forward to your response.
