@haimom1 Ryan appears for the first time in the 5th episode of the 2nd season. If you haven't discovered that by now since it's been a while since you commented...
Imagine if they tried to reference James Joyce on the US version? Or any literature ... when they did the Shakespeare round, the audience was completely lost.
Me too! I've been watching them in order after just watching them with Tony and Josie. But now I am OBSESSED with Ryan Stiles! Thank you soooooooo much for uploading these! xx
hmmm...I've watched tons of Whose Line UK eps. before this, but I'm trying to watch them in order now, as not to miss any shows...and I think John Sessions is starting to grow on me... I couldn't stand him the first few times I saw him, but I think I'm getting used to him.
hehe. yes i've just started doing the same thing, watching them in order. I'm going to try and get through all the US shows too. I didn't realise how many seasons(UK + US) i've missed out on. A whole bag of goodies to look forward to!
I was only watching the ones with Greg and Tony at first, but then I realized that if I watched them in order, I wouldn't miss any they were in. Plus I discovered other performers that are really funny like Stephen Fry and Paul Merton.
its amazing this series was filmed/aired one year b4 i was born. Yet it is still good fun :D only the clothes and stuff make it dated. the comedy however is still funny 21 years later.
Jimmy looks stoned.

For some reason, Archie reminds me of the Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer character from SNL.

a pity 'Authors' never took in the US version (then again, that requires the audience to be literate)

If I were ten times as awesome as I am I still wouldn't be half as awesome as Sessions is.

As an American, I can say that John's Joyce was spot on! I have to say he capture the writing style superbly.

Jimmy used that same Dylan Thomas routine on the radio show, and I didn't get the joke there either. Someone explain why "dye the bread" is funny?

John Sessions is genius at quick thinking!

Well, from the looks of the first few seconds of Clive's intro, they probably weren't doing 3-4 takes like they did in most of the later episodes =)

Rory looks so different in this than what he does in Mock the Week

John's Joyce was amazing!
