I don't understand what these toy makers are trying to do. You told them no lead, they gave you cadmium instead. You told them no cadmium in paint, they gave you solid cadmium metal with 91% purity. What's next? Do they just pretend they don't understand English or is it actually a secret warfare against our nation's children? Boycott Wal*Mart and Chinese toys and let them know we are really fed up.
What is the REASON for adding lead as an ingredient for toys in the first place? I just don't understand it. You mean to tell me this can't be avoided? I don't buy it. This seems intentional. Lead doesn't get on the toys all by itself. It's put there.
Lead compounds are used as pigment in paints. Lead paints were banned in the US like 40+ years ago. However, children in the US still get lead poisoning if their family live in an old house where old paint chips off. Apparently lead paints are not yet banned in China.
@lemonndrop the great smell and great taste of a brand new fresh out of the box toy good times the 90s lol when if you could smell the lead of your toy you knew that toy was good and a keeper lol just couldnet play with it too much tho the fumes wiould get you high
