I thought it was clever. Looked like it was for a class project with a limited budget. Johnny Cash brings depth and soul to any song he covers. He did some beautiful versions of a few other songs before he passed that still touch me when I listen.  Hurt, In My Life, Rusty Cage, and Bridge Over Troubled Waters come to mind.

I bought the original Depeche Mode version single the week it came out in September of 1989, so me & this song have had over a 21 year love affair.....your video was clever & creative & in the spirit of the song, so criticism be damned.
