Incredible performance by Tim as always but it's a damn shame that the song is cut at the end. Is there a full length video of his take on Reba anywhere?
@mkdevo Thanks for the reply! I've seen that one too but the sound quality seems better in the first one. Plus as much as I like hearing Chris play, it's more impressive watching Tim pull off the song all by himself...
Wooooow! Nevermind this being a tough song on its own, but really hard to do this without band support without it sounding empty. Great job I'd throw some glow sticks around for this jam
i love how the crowd talks through the part where he plays both Page's and Trey's part of the canon (right before the jam), which trey doesn't even do, and probably never even attempted. honestly blew my mind, i cant figure out wtf is going on there. incredible as usual.
this is awesome! love the loop work, the composition section was nearly flawless (still a thousand times better than i could ever play), and the jam section was taaasty! well done friendo
Reba was the first song by Phish that I ever heard and it got me hooked on the band. You did an awesome job of preserving the roots of the song and adding your own twist! Awesome skills!
I definitely could do better with timing than he could, but I definitely couldn't play that fast. He's great, just needs to work on timing, that's all.
I'm sorry you think I'm a dumbass, and I'm also sorry that it's impossible to politely voice your opinion in a humble way without outraging a million people. It's a great song and he's a great guitarist playing one of the most incredible compositions out there by one of the best groups out there. He's just off on his timing, that's all. Sorry if you people are too sensitive to take a comment like that, but I honestly don't understand why you'd be offended by something as stupid as that.
I know your comment was a long time ago, however as a musician I have to say that when you comment, "I definately could do better with....." you are not coming across "HUMBLE" and that is what sticks out in your comment....it is not about being sensitive....I have an idea upload your "BETTER TIMING" version for us..........waiting
Holy Moley! That was some kind of playing right there. What I love about is not just the incredible, dead-on, chops, but also the fact that TP gives this beautiful Phish vehicle his own spin. I like to think that Trey would totally dig the spirit in which this was done. Frickin amazing!
tim palmieri is the best guitar player on the american jam band scene currently, possibly ever. if you dig this, definitely check his full band out, The Breakfast, they are unreal.
damn. id like to see this guy come play in asheville. Just noticed the uploader is mkdevo...obv who else captures all epicness on camera
