wow she's really rockin out in the local dress.....absolutely flawless, rusty sort of voice of hers and that synth keyboard sets the mood perfectly. audience was perfectly sucked in for all I could tell.

This is the first song i heard by Beach House---in an independent film whose title I can't remember now--but I do remember it taking my breath away and I fell in love with it instantaneously. I went right to the computer as soon as the credits rolled and looked for more info. on this mysterious band Beach House that I only discovered little over a year ago. I now have all their albums and love all their music but this song still remains the most played on my you tube channel of theirs. Magical!

yes, indeed, bjoern22922, that is what counts! I just like discovering bands before they get so popular that you can't see them play live in a 200 person or less venue anymore. In fact , I'm driving four and a half hours in two wks. to see them play at a brewery in wine country(oxymoron, no?) because it may be my last chance before they start playing in the big houses where i'll need a telescope and a credit card. Two days after i see them in a 150 person fire code space, they're at coachella!

@SeaSickWaters Yes, I was at that show! Actually, i was the first person through the door into the venue...but opted to stand against the wall on the bar side that seperated the bar from the main floor (21 vs. 18 and over). I was just right of the d.j/sound booth ...which ended up being a pretty great spot since half the show i kneeled on a bar stool which elevated me to hip level with the collar bones of the band members. Yah, I was in music heaven at that show, despite the hot , thick air!

@islandsq my friends and i were right up front! It was incredible except for these jackass kids in front of us trying their hardest to slam into everyone around them. They would have fit in better at brochella but nothing could ruin that amazing evening

I really must hear this band live! They are so unbelievably rich and fulfilling to listen to...gorgeous , melodic, epic love story in form of song by way of poetry and beauty. I'm just disappointed it took me until 2010 to discover this luscious vibrational art. Just bought the Devotion album and i really like it all the way through on the first listen so I know i'm going to love it very soon. Looking forward to Teen Dream but it wasn't in store so I'm on the prowl for it! A shy smile song.
