well the journalist is french canadian and he has limited english and he is also a huge Beatles fan so you combine those 2 things together and you end up with an impressed journalist that loses control
Macca liked the interviewer , I thought he was ok a happy soul and Paul could see and feel that energy , this guy could probably get more out of Paul than any other interviewer because Paul felt as ease with him . Best interview I've seen Paul do is the one with Michael Parkinson nothing will ever top that and it's on YouTube aswell so a must for any Macca fans , check his backing band out on the show too you'll be surprised who's in the line up .
Way to go Mr. Campbell. You've done very well for yourself since stepping into playing the 'role' of the late, great James Paul McCartney since his untimely death on November 16, 1966. It's only fitting that faux Paul (AKA 'Faul') should perform in a French-speaking Province.
@rouelibre1 Well, this is what I meant. McCartney is obviously having a good time with Levesque, and that's what I like in this interview. And I'm not saying I'd do any better than Levesque interviewing the pope, but I don't think he'd be the most appropriate person to do it.
@rouelibre1 Well, this is what I meant. McCartney is obviously having a good time with Levesque, and that's what I like about this interview. I was just saying that, overall in his shows, he lacks intelligence.
@BenoitDery Well exactly. Lévesque was (and is by all means) first degree simple. In that sense, he was better than some bull-shit artists that make it too sophisticated and complicated for nothing. Just think of Benezra. It would have been a disaster. Bazzo, on the other hand, would have done a good job too, I'm sure.
It's all - interviewing - a part of the job. I can imagine hearing Lennon's answer to the question, "Do you miss them"? Lennon's response - "After being away from them for so long, well, yeah, I TRULY miss them now. Well, you know, I miss THEM, but I don't miss their BULLSHIT at all". "Dont give me no, no, bullshit!". ROFL.

I thought it was a great interview. McCartney is the biggest out there, yet he comes across as regular kind of guy. Some of these prima donna rappers with their eff you attitudes could learn from a guy like McCartney.
of course he didn`t write My Michelle and he was so young ...early Beatles were a Prefab Band with prefab songs....hate to say this cause they are a myth , most bands do that at one point , we all love them but its a fact
you can`t be so naive to believe that they were 24 yo and wrote a piece like yesterday or MyMichelle in french.
Thats classical music. Look , The early Beatles were a prefab band, full of sonwriters and songs handed to them. Martin was a classical player, they were a product, like a multinational Co. It`s mandatory in the Industry. They were great, when they started to do their own stuff , smth the Stones couldnt do after Mick Taylors departure
@jjbarbados They wrote their own songs you retard, just cause they were young doesn't mean they weren't talented, they wrote songs waaaay before meeting Martin. Mozart wrote songs when he was a child for christ sake
@jjbarbados They wrote their own stuff. Writing a song is something and arranging it and producing it is another thing. This is where Sir George Martin came-in handy.
But from Rubber Soul on, to Pepper, they took more things in their own hands; if this it what you mean. Of course, they didn't arrange Yesterday or Rigby!!!

Thank you for posting this. That was quite an entertaining interview. Paul, even in his 60's, still got that boyish charm. God Bless him. Long Live The Beatles.
when a simple man creates something out of the ordinary it's called magic and Paul IS an extra ordinarily simple man with a gift he shares with all of us thats what makes him a Magician !
Paul has spent his LIFE in front of a camera, and out of necessity has created a "personality", but in this chat he seems very 'himself'. Don't forget, one day he will be gone and all of those who shoot harsh criticisms will have a perspective somewhat different.
He's just a musician who just wants to connect with people. It IS a nobel profession and lifestyle, to want to give and feel love. Corny or not, think about it.
why does he talk about Celine Dion... wtf man... paul mcartney is in front of you and talk about some dumb quebecer girl who isn,t wrthy of seeing the beatles.... dumbass
Paul's still got his charm even now ... would love to share a joint and a drink with the man solo, for no other reason than to just to get the real story behind it all.

this is why people love you..you are so humble, you love your audience, your so inspiring. Trust me , the Beatles and you will be remembered for a long, long time. PLEASE COME TO THE EAST COAST ON CONCERT, USA..Maryland, DC..NYC!
We have so much good interviewers in Quebec, why have they sent the worst f***ing dumbass?!?
You look at these guys, and in all the interviews I've seen, they are never out of control.

this is why people love you..you are so humble, you love your audience, your so inspiring. Trust me , the Beatles and you will be remembered for a long, long time. PLEASE COME TO THE EAST COAST ON CONCERT, USA..Maryland, DC..NYC!

His French has gotten much better since 1965 when he tried to say some French to the audience in Paris.

Of course he knows Celine Dion, stupid question!

Paul McCartney isn't GOD. So what if Lévesque

We have so much good interviewers in Quebec, why have they sent the worst f***ing dumbass?!?
