I think this is a wonderful piece of art and you think it's not strong enough. I can see how you dislike Senior, we all have different tastes but there are lots of people who still find Röyksopp's music great.

Just yesterday there was a interview of Jean Michel Jarre on a Norwegian newspaper where he stated that he listened to Senior everyday for months, I guess JMJ agrees they still make great music :)

This outfit, Royksopp, needs to stick to attaching brilliant videos to their tracks to make them more interesting, like 'The Drug', or using good singers like Karin Dreijer as they did in 'What Else Is There'. It started rather goofy with its bass and drums and in the middle there is this guitar string melody with much distortion, why so much distortion I don't understand and it melts with the goofy bass and drums and turns into sweet sweet melody and now goddamn i see it now yes the sweet melody (i think this is how alcoholics listen to music, no?) and now i have been listening for 20 times now and still enjoying it

Melody A.M. Is my winter album, end of. Its a real piece of art, perfect for the slopes. So far none of their other stuff has had the same effect on me as that first one did, it hit just the right spots. The others... well, apart from 'what else is there' on the Understanding, largely disappointing. I'm going to buy this, and I hope in the next couple of weeks it will be the only thing I want to listen to out on the slopes.

Thats what they wanted to do was show the 2 different extremes of their craft. If you knew what you were talking about im sure you would appreciate this album much more because there is no way you can be a true fan and know this and not enjoy it. If anything it makes me respect them that much more.
