I don't remember, did Sims 2 also change music when you switch from Build to Buy? Or vice versa. Because I remember the first one doing that and the Sims 3 doesn't.
@ilovecampcar22 the music did change. it annoyed me when I realised there was one square of untiled floor and I had to interrupt my buy mode music just to fix it. I probably shouldn't have admitted that.

The Sims 2 had the best main theme, sim making theme, and build mode theme. But the buy mode music from Sims 1 beats them all.
