People who say that being "gay" is a natural thing are only justifying what is clearly unnatural. Clay coming out a little too late is irrational but understandable at the same time because he knew that it would hurt his reputation at that early point in his career (even though the public's suspicions were at its peak). yeah but racism and sexual orientation are two very different things. If you honestly think society will change its course for the gay community, the same way racism had been dealt with years ago, you're sadly mistaken. Unless, people put aside or reject all of their VALUES, MORALS, STANDARDS, and RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES/PRACTICES, there will still be some issues with homosexuality. Some traditions will remain the same. I'm sorry but this is just something that the gay community HAS to accept.

People who say that being "gay" is a natural thing are only justifying what is clearly unnatural. Clay coming out a little too late is irrational but understandable at the same time because he knew that it would hurt his reputation at that early point in his career (even though the public's suspicions were at its peak). Which means that no matter what era you're born in, there's no doubt that being "gay" will remain arguably unnatural and that the cons will almost always outweigh the pros.

What doesn't make any sense? It IS unnatural. The only reason why it seems "natural" nowadays is because of the TOLERANCE for gays. We are now at the point where society is tolerating gays because of the fact that they're going to be constantly protesting their rights. But isn't it funny that the ones who call my comment "judgemental" are also no better themselves? Who's NOT judgemental? Who's to say that the only ones who are judgemental are intolerant of gays? Gay people are just as prejudice.

I would have to say that I'm lucky to be born in this particular era because of the vast information that we have now. There are more advantages and disadvantages. I would think that people these days have more to be grateful for. The gay community most especially. Nowadays, they have MORE rights than ever before. Problem is, they just can't be SATISFIED with what they already have. I prefer to tolerate them than to criticize them. Yet, they criticize opposing opinions BRUTALLY. Ironic, huh?
